Built for leaders who run multiple dental practices.

We ensure the right blend of leaders in the room, from those who run two sites to hundreds.

If you fit in that range and have a bias towards action, then apply for a ticket to join us.

A different kind of dental event

Learn from expert speakers that advise the world’s biggest brands.

David JP Phillips and Richard Shotton headline For the Doers this year.

Combined, their books, talks, and podcast appearances have been consumed by millions. They’ve advised the world’s biggest companies on two of the most important assets in business: attention and trust.

For one day, they’re pointed at UK dentistry.

Alongside them, group owners you won’t have seen on a stage before, telling stories where they had to build trust when the odds were stacked against them.

You’ll leave understanding why people say yes to you, knowing what to change in how your practices ask, and unwilling to wait until next quarter to do it.

The content

What we’ll be covering

Two keynotes from world-class experts

The neuroscience of attention. How to grab it, and what that means when you’re presenting to patients, to your teams, or to the board.

The behavioural science behind decisions. How to ethically tap into hidden biases to attract new patients, maximise opportunities with existing patients, and get teams on board for new changes.

  • How to put a new way of working in front of your teams so they buy into it
  • How to adjust your messaging to change the result
  • The hidden biases in patients, staff and clinicians
  • The studies that already exist, and what other industries have done with them

Learning from peers

Twenty minute talks. Raw stories from group operators and practice founders who have been bold enough to optimise for trust.

  • Trusting the future leaders coming through your ranks
  • Building a group where every level trusts a culture change
  • Backing a completely new way of doing dentistry
  • Creating a patient experience patients are willing to try
  • Buying a practice off a group and turning it round in under a year, on the small things the group never got to

Why should you attend?

Three reasons this one is worth the day out

Peers telling the raw version

Operators on stage talking about the parts that went wrong, and what rebuilding trust actually cost them. No case-study gloss, no vendor pitch dressed as a talk.

Experts from outside dentistry

Leading experts who advise some of the biggest names in the world, brought in and then made to answer the questions a group operator actually has.

A room where everyone runs a group

The content and the experience are optimised for leaders of multiple practices, whether they’ve just started their journey or whether they run hundreds of practices.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Who can attend For The Doers?

The DSO Leader Edition is exclusively for UK dental group and multi-site leadership — owners, directors, managers or equivalent senior positions. Applications from outside that will be declined.

Is it really application only?

Yes. Submitting an application doesn't guarantee a place. We review every application to have the right blend of group leaders in the room to make sure you have the best experience and come away feeling inspired and with fresh perspectives.

How many people can come from my group?

Up to three representatives per dental group or multi-site practice. That cap may tighten as ticket sales progress.

When am I charged?

Tickets are chargeable on approval of your application. Full payment secures your place. Full terms are on the booking page.

Where exactly is the venue?

East London. The exact address is released to confirmed guests by email once an application is approved.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes — there's a field for it on the application form. Tell us there and we'll handle it.

What time should I arrive and leave?

Doors and coffee from 09:30, first session at 10:00. We close at 16:15 and drinks run until 17:00 — most people stay for those.
